Sponsorship Opportunities

Throughout the year, the Destin Area Chamber of Commerce offers many opportunities for area businesses to get their company name out to other Chamber members and to the community. These sponsorship opportunities include the following:

Business to Business Breakfast
Always the second Friday of each month, these events are attended by approximately 150 area business professionals. With speakers, such as industry experts, economists, and area officials, and ample networking opportunities, these events are packed with value. Sponsors receive five minutes to address attendees, sponsor billing in all event advertisements, and up to six complimentary breakfast admissions. Value is $1,800.

Leads Lunch
Our new Leads Lunch is designed to be nothing but networking, allowing attendees to make new connections, find potential clients, and strengthen existing relationships. The event, always held the third Wednesday of each month, will rotate among Destin area restaurants. Sponsor receives five minutes to address attendees, sponsor billing in all advertisements, and up to six complimentary lunch admissions. Value is $1,800.

Business After Hours
Always held the fourth Thursday of every month except November, December, and January, these events are usually attended by 150-200 business professionals, and they offer an end-of-the-day networking opportunity to help meet new clients, gain exposure for businesses, and expand networks. Sponsors receive up to five minutes to address attendees and sponsor billing in all event advertisements. Sponsor is responsible for heavy hors d’oeuvres and one to two beverages for 150-200 people at the venue of sponsor’s choice. No additional fee is required.

32nd Annual Destin Seafood Festival
The 32nd Annual Destin Seafood Festival will be held during the first weekend of October. Attended by more than 32,000 in 2009, from locals and visitors to families and foodies, the Destin Seafood Festival is an annual tradition in one of the panhandle’s most beautiful communities. It features live entertainment, food from some of the area’s favorite restaurants, arts & crafts, a kids’ play area, and more. Our sponsorship packages enable you to enjoy community recognition, market your products and services to all festival-goers, and get your employees out into and involved in our community. Value ranges from $500 to $12,000.

Second Annual Seafood Festival Golf Classic
The Destin Seafood Festival Golf Classic is Northwest Florida Gulf Coast’s premier amateur golf tournament. Two-person teams enjoy two days of competitive play in a best ball format. The tournament is flighted at the completion of the first day of play, and prizes are awarded in all flights. Sponsorship of this event offers our members exposure to serious golf players, both local and regional. 2010 dates have not yet been announced. Value ranges from $200 to $5,000.

Annual Spring Golf Tournament
The Chamber’s Annual Spring Golf Tournament offers outstanding networking and advertising opportunities for all members – avid golfers and non-golfers, alike. All skill levels are encouraged to play in this flighted four-person scramble. Prizes are awarded for tournament winners, as well as for hole-in-one, longest drive, putting contest, and closest to the pin. Value is $110 to $2,500.

3rd Annual Multi-Chamber Business Expo & Taste of Okaloosa County
For the third year, the chambers of commerce in Okaloosa County will partner to bring their members the biggest marketing and networking opportunity around – the Multi-Chamber Business Expo & Taste of Okaloosa County. The event, hosted by the Destin Area, Greater Fort Walton Beach, and Niceville Valparaiso Chambers of Commerce, is open to the public to attend at no charge. More than 600 people have attended the event in previous years. Booth spaces and sponsorships are available. Value ranges from $275 to $600.

14th Annual Business Expo & After Hours
This annual Business Expo & After Hours allows approximately 30 members to showcase their products and services to more than 300 attendees. The event is open to the public to attend at no charge. Booth spaces and sponsorships are available. Value ranges from $275 to $400.

New Member Reception
Every quarter, the Chamber staff and Board of Directors invite new members to a reception to warmly welcome them and to introduce them to the benefits of their new membership. Sponsors are invited to join us in this welcome and will be given five minutes to address the attendees. Value is $250.

Tuesday Talking Points
The Chamber keeps members informed of all Chamber news, announcements, and events with a weekly email newsletter. This email is sent to more than 1,600 email addresses, which belong to all members and their representatives. Exclusive sponsorship of this weekly email includes a banner ad at the top of the email, which links directly to the sponsor’s website. Value is $100 per week.
