This photo was taken on 5-9-12. It is of the Navarre Beach Pier just after a thunderstorm moved through. This beautiful rainbow appeared, and it looked as if the end of it was right down on the beach. I took this from my 6th floor condo at Summerwinds.

This photo was taken at the beach access point on the west end of the Marler Bridge (the 'World's Luckiest Fishing Village' sign is just out of frame to the right). The trees that are silhouetted are the on the Eglin property right off of HWY 98, across from the Coast Guard Station.

I like this photo because it shows the pretty city lights, the pier, and the rising moon all in a single shot. The city gave the sky a bluish glow on one side of the image, while the moon retained some of the orange like the faded sunset.

I love the beach, especially the white sandy beaches of Destin. I live very far from it in Missouri. This was my son's first trip to the beach. He is the little boy holding mommy's hand in the foreground. This was a very special trip.

This photo was taken last October. I am an avid runner and run/walk as much as possible on the beach. I have learned over the last years to always have a camera with me on my beach runs because you never know what cool things you'll come across. This particular day the beach was pretty deserted; however, someone had left behind this really awesome castle. I took a picture of it with Destin's beautiful emerald water and amazing clouds in the background.

We visit Destin every October, while our boys have a fall break from school. I love this picture because it reminds me of all the good times and relaxation of being at the beach. We love hanging out at A.J.'s every night and watch the boats come in for the Fishing Rodeo.

Solitude during the height of the Destin tourist season - Okaloosa Island at sunrise. Early morning is a very special time for me, and sunrise in a place as beautiful and peaceful (in early morning) as the beach on Okaloosa Island was absolutely awesome.

My family and I went to the beach and my grandma wanted to feed the birds. Out of nowhere a bunch of seagulls came near us. It reminded me of a scene from Alfred Hitchcock's the Birds. My grandma wasn't afraid and laughed loudly while feeding the birds. My mom on the other hand was ready to run. All in all it was a fun day at the beach.
