Event Description:
The Society of Flight Test Engineers (SFTE) would like to invite engineers, technical professionals and technically oriented local businesses to participate in the 43rd Annual SFTE Symposium, to be held for the first time on the Emerald Coast, on Oct 1 - 4, 2012. The SFTE is an international fraternity of engineers, whose principal professional interest is the advancement of aerospace vehicle flight testing. The event will be held at the Ramada Beach Resort on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

It will be attended by engineers from all over the country and from overseas as well. The annual SFTE symposium is the largest gathering of flight test engineers each year. The symposium will consist of briefings by internationally renowned guest speakers, technical paper presentations, training classes as well as social events for both attendees and their families. There will also be a large corporate/vendor display area to allow local businesses and vendors to showcase their company's products and their technical capabilities each day. There will be several events available for corporate sponsorship, including a welcome reception, breakfasts, technical sessions, coffee breaks, a speaker luncheon, and an awards reception. The symposium provides an international venue for technical and fraternal communication and networking, in the engineering fields of flight and weapon system testing, analysis, instrumentation, and data systems.
