Event Description: Sinfonia’s seventh season of innovative musical programming as the region’s only fully-professional symphony orchestra continues at Destiny Worship Center on Friday, Jan. 25, at 7:30 p.m., with “Sinfonia, Sibelius and the Seventh (of Beethoven).”

Grammy Award-nominee Caroline Goulding returns to the Sinfonia stage to perform Jean Sibelius’ epic violin concerto. “ Technically brilliant young violinists grow on trees these days, but few have so strong a personality so early,” claimed the Dallas Morning News.

The concert concludes with Beethoven’s rhythmically whimsical and inspiring seventh symphony. The brilliant sonority of the orchestral sound, the grandeur of the inner movements and the pulsating rhythmic finale have made this one of the most beloved symphonies in the entire orchestral repertoire.

Tickets range from $29.50-$42.50 and can be purchased and printed online or by calling the box office. Specially priced ticket packages for the season’s remaining concerts, including the March 23 Gala “Bond & Beyond: Celebrating 50 years of 007,” and featuring Tony Award-Winning singer/actress Debbie Gravitte, are also on sale.
