Event Description: Catherine Nolan, from the Cultural Resource Management on Eglin Air Force Base, will present “Hinterland of an Empire: A Remote West Florida British Colonial Site,” on Friday, Feb. 8, at 12 p.m. at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida. This British Colonial Period (1763-1781) site and updated exhibition of Colonial period artifacts will be discussed. Bring a sandwich and take your lunch break at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida for History Sandwiched-In, an informal lunchtime education program. This lecture is free and open to the public.
