Just a shot of some of the things I find so pleasing to inspire us when we visit our beautiful beaches. It was taken in Destin in August 2006 when I was enjoying a few quiet moments.

This photograph was taken in late August in Destin at sunset. I liked the contrasting colors--the pinks in the clouds, aquamarine waters, and white sands that I think make Destin such a wonderful place to live, work, and vacation.

I took this photo at NCO beach/Beasley Park on September 2006 during the volunteer beach clean up for Eglin AFB. I saw this huge driftwood and it just looked photo perfect to my camera eye, and I have to say, I love the way it turned out, so much so that I have had it blown up to 11 x 14 for framing in my living room.

This beach shot is just off one of Destin's most beautiful and pristine scenic roads, Highway 30-A. The photo was taken mid-summer 2004. I have this framed and hanging in my home as my reminder of how beautiful a paradise that I am privileged to have grown up and currently live in.

This photo was taken on Crystal Beach (where the Coral Reef Club presently stands) in July of 1983. A recent storm had washed loads of seaweed ashore. My family spent the day together on our precious beach making this 20 x 40 foot sign to let all the beach lovers know they had reached the perfect "Destination."
