I took this on the beach outside our condo on the Pass. It was a cloudy day without lots of people on the beach. I couldn't resist getting this picture of my daughter. Even though you can't see her face straight on, you can still see all the wonder and awe that she has for our home away from home. She most definitely takes after the rest of her family and has joined the ranks of Beach Bum!

I took this picture of my nephew Holden and my 11-year-old golden retriever Clover Sue this past summer on our beach in Miramar. To me, this picture tells the story of their love for each other. Holden says he loves the animals in our family most, and Clover truly loves Holden. She is by his side whenever he is here. As you can tell from the picture, she would let him drag her anywhere. (Just in case you were wondering, Clover does have a beach tag.)
