I found this recipe before we took our 2008 road trip to Destin. You mix water + plaster of paris together, make a mold in the sand, lay your shells you find on beach on top of mold, pour your plaster of paris over the top, let dry. But after it was dry, and we dug it out of the sand and turned it over, the recipe was much more than that! The recipe was different now! It was DESTIN + BEAUTIFUL SHELLS + AQUA WATER + WHITE SAND = LOVE! The heart shaped mold was beautiful!

When I passed by this dune with this tangled mess of driftwood on it, it looked so beautiful! It almost looks like sculpture of some sort. Well, actually, I guess really it is a "sculpture"...done by God!

Fish in shallow water approaches unsuspecting beached boater - From one of my favorite spots for great views of the west end of Destin--the Marler Bridge. I happened to notice the fairly large fish in shallow water as it approached a beached boater. I wasn't sure who would be the most surprised, the boater or the large fish.
