This photo was taken on the Seablaster's sunset cruise. The staff are great with the kids. They give them crackers to feed the birds, and they even get to drive the boat! We love Destin, and we love the Seablaster!!! We return every year now.

Our grandson really enjoys the beach at Destin. We bought Skimmer Boards, and one of the local artists drew pictures and signed them with the kids names. What a great memory. The kids have them displayed in their bedrooms at home, and it is a great memory for them. They love Destin, and so do we. We go every year and will continue to do so.

It was an early, quiet morning on the beach in Destin in August 2009...the birds were enjoying their morning catch without a care in the world. Suddenly, out of NOWHERE, here comes this little boy running with every ounce of energy that a toddler has, and he is gonna catch one!! He ran and ran while I watched, almost sure that he would succeed! I really enjoy shooting in black and white to capture the energy and emotion of what is happening at the moment.

My daughter and I and other family members have started a family tradition of going on road trips to Destin every year! My daughter Mandy (pictured) was having so much fun finding sanddollars at Navarre beach! As you can see the sanddollars were as big saucers! All she had to do was shuffle her feet in a certain area at the beach and up they came from the sand! We did not want to tell everyone where they were though! Destin brings out the kid in all of us! We can’t wait for road trip 2010!

Kara's Catch - Every year my three granddaughters come to Destin to visit and to spend at least one day on a charter fishing boat. Arriving with only one day left in the snapper season, they each managed to bring in nice-sized snapper, and this one is Kara's big catch. It pleases me to know that we still have not only an abundance of snapper in the Gulf offshore Destin, but there are some very nice ones out there as well.
