The photograph, I believe, has the quintessential elements of the beach at sundown ~ the beautiful colors of the sunset, the sun hovering above the Destin area skyline, people enjoying the Gulf of Mexico waters, a stroller along the beach, and a small beach bird running along the shore. The photograph was taken near Ed Walline Park, off Scenic 30A , five miles from my home.

This photo was taken Oct 2009 at the Wind Dancer . My husband and I have celebrated our wedding anniversary in Destin for several years instead of traveling anywhere else. We enjoy the wonderful beach and the beautiful sunsets. We always look forward to playing “tourist” and to enjoy everything Destin has to offer. We feel blessed to be able to live and work in such an amazing place. This was taken at sunset in October 2009 from the 2nd floor balcony. The sunset just took my breath away. I believe the picture says it all and captures the beautiful sunsets and sparkling beaches.
