 | Bay/Harbor Entry #42 Ty was enjoying himself while we sailed around the intracoastal on the trimaran rented from Island Watersports in Ft. Walton. August 2011. Sailing is one of our favorite ways to enjoy Ft. Walton/Destin. You're so close to the water as you soak up the sun and what better way to enjoy the sea breeze?
- Amy Canup, Alexandria, KY |

 | Bay/Harbor Entry #29 This shot was taken from the Destin bridge when Capt Kirk was navigating the Enterprise back into the harbor. I love the time of day when the water is so beautiful. The angle of the sun on the boats at this time of day is awesome for photos. Capt Kirk is a good friend of mine, and we attend Shoreline Church together.

 | Bay/Harbor Entry #28 This is a photo that my mother took of me while we were watching the fireworks at HarborWalk in Destin on Thursday, Aug. 25, while on vacation from Indiana. It is special to us because I was born on the 4th of July, and I love fireworks. It is also special because this is the first trip in 2 years that I have taken with my parents.

Bay/Harbor Entry #24 Attached is a photo I took a couple of years ago of the East Pass. The picture was taken from the Destin Pointe neighborhood. This picture is special to me because I love the views of the Pass in the evening, especially while overlooking the natural dune lake. The East Pass sunsets are always fantastic, but they are especially good in the fall when the sun sets more in the south and the red colors seem to really come out at this time of year. There is no place I know that is quite like this special spot in Destin. Red Skies at night
visitors delight?

Bay/Harbor Entry #23 I photographed these dolphins April 11, 2008, while on vacation. We visit Destin almost every year. We moved from Indiana in 2010 and now live in St. Augustine, FL.... but that doesn't stop us from visiting Destin!
- Nikki Brubaker, St. Augustine, FL |

Bay/Harbor Entry #22 I occasionally go down to the harbor area just to take photos. I enjoy going to Norreigo Point and accessing the beach and harbor view from that perspective. It is a wonderful place to take photos. I particularly like this view because it has the heron walking along the beach, passing sand dunes, and coming toward the magnificent open view of the harbor.
- Rachel Strawbridge, Santa Rosa Beach, FL |

Bay/Harbor Entry #12 My husband and I were enjoying the sunset on the Destin docks, as we often do, and I wanted to snap a picture of the gorgeous colors. By the time I got my phone out and was ready to take the picture, the Blackbeard had sailed into the frame. This completed the shot, in my opinion, and made it perfect!
