The Destin Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the second Destin Area Restaurant Week
on Oct. 24-30, 2010. Designed to drive business to local restaurants, this event will target area residents.
The requirements of participation are simple:
- Offer an affordable prix fixe menu, with two to three options available for diners. Menu may be for lunch, dinner, or both.
- Help promote the event in the weeks leading up to it with posters, bill inserts, and emails.
- Be a Chamber member.
Restaurant Week will provide incentives for Destin area residents to experience restaurants where they may
not typically dine, affording the restaurant a chance to gain new customers during a normally slower time of the year. Ensure your prix fixe menu offers a good sample of signature dishes and new entrees for guests to enjoy.
The Chamber will promote the Destin Area Restaurant Week through print, radio, email, website, and social media. We will provide posters to you for display, as well as artwork for bill inserts and email campaigns, should
you have the ability to use them. We will create a Restaurant Week page hosted on www.DestinChamber.com to list
all participating restaurants and link to their special prix fixe menus.
The deadline to secure your place in the first Destin Area Restaurant Week is Friday, Sept. 24. The
website, posters, and all artwork will be ready on Monday, Oct. 11. For more information, please contact the
