The Destin
Beach Safety Patrol
The Destin Area Chamber of Commerce proudly supports the mission of the Destin Beach Safety Patrol (DBSP). The DBSP was formed by the Destin Fire Control District as an official organized professional beach patrol in June 2003. It is a US Lifeguard Association (USLA) certified non-profit organization operated by sponsors and donations. It is comprised of open-water USLA-certified firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics.

During peak seasons, beaches of Destin are patrolled by professional USLA-certified lifeguard personnel from 10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. seven days a week. For more information on the DBSP, please contact (850) 685-0610 or visit www.DestinBeachSafety.com.
