In 2002, the Harvard Mentoring Project and the Corporation for National and Community Service proclaimed the month of January to be National Mentoring Month. This was done to highlight mentoring and the positive impact it has, while creating a strong advocacy for mentoring groups. For these same reasons and to honor the individuals who so graciously share their time and talents, BUILD commemorates this annual occurrence with Connections...A Mentor Appreciation Celebration!
The BUILD Council, YP@TB, ECEL, Fort Walton Beach Young Professionals, and the Leadership Walton Alumni would like to invite you to the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa on Tuesday, Jan. 19, from 5:30 - 7 p.m. for a reception to show our appreciation to the BUILD mentors and offer everyone the opportunity to network with the current and future leaders of our region. Our vision of bridging the gap between today's leaders and the leaders of tomorrow is being realized, because of the passion of our mentors and partners to help people succeed.
