22nd Annual Sounds of the Season Concert

The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation and co-presenters, Destin Assembly of God, Destin United Methodist, St. Peter Catholic Church and Village Baptist Church will present the 22nd Annual Sounds of the Season on Friday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. at Village Baptist Church.
 
This year’s concert will feature guest artist, Sarah Simmons Langston and accompanying her on stage will be her husband, Greg.
 
In 2013, Sarah wowed her way onto the NBC’s “The Voice” resulting in all four chairs turning and advancing to the Final Eight. She majored in voice and worship leadership at the University of Mobile before transferring to the Memphis-based Visible Music College where she met her husband. They write, record and tour together.
 
Admission is a donation of a new unwrapped child’s toy to be distributed among the participating church’s outreach ministries to provide a brighter Christmas for families in need during the holidays. A love offering at intermission will benefit the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s community outreach initiatives benefiting students, adults and children with special needs, at-risk youth and wounded warriors with visible and invisible injuries in Okaloosa and Walton counties.
