Accomplished and brilliant musician David Seering will perform his annual concert to benefit local charity Children in Crisis (CIC). This year he will be performing with Amanda Holmes and the Swing City Six band. The show will take place on February 22, 2016 at 7 p.m., at the Village Baptist Church in Destin, and all proceeds will go directly to help give a home to the foster children of NW Florida.
Seering has received many accolades throughout his career and has performed for three former presidents. He calls the Emerald Coast home and is always looking for ways to give back to the community. This is the fourth year that Seering is performing this benefit concert and he has raised over $55,000 for Children in Crisis!
CIC President and CEO Ken Hair said, “We’re all very excited about the David Seering and Friends concert benefiting Children in Crisis. We look forward to a very enjoyable event and a sell-out crowd. We offer our sincere thanks to David and all the supporters of CIC. It is individuals like Seering and our supportive community that continue to help CIC provide a home for the children living at CIC."

The mission of Children in Crisis is "Providing Homes and Establishing Hope" for the abused, neglected and abandoned children of our community. The Children's Neighborhood provides an emergency shelter for young children, and the group foster homes help with the severe shortage of foster homes in our community. Together, we can make a difference in the life of a child.
