Celebrating the Okaloosa Centennial all year long… the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida presents “Okaloosa Steepheads,” a free lecture, Nov. 13, at noon. Guest speaker, Walter G. Smith, will discuss one of the most unique, diverse and sensitive ecosystems in the entire southeast. These deep ravines are some of the panhandle’s most remarkable geological features, and occur exclusively in Northwest Florida.
