The Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida presents "Tombstones Tales: Cemeteries, Symbols & Stories" with guest speaker Katherine Sims, UWF Archaeology graduate student and Public Archaeology assistant will examine Okaloosa County's historic cemeteries and the vast information on their markers and tombstones. She will discuss the development of modern cemeteries, the kinds of information that can be found from their inscriptions and symbols and the unique marker styles of local cemeteries.
