The Friends Guild of the Destin Library will host a series of informal round table discussions on Tuesdays, February 7th, 14th and 21st, 2017 (1:00 PM) at the Destin Library. These events have been designed to explore unique and exciting ways to refresh minds, bodies, and spirits at any age. The programs are free and open to the public.
February 7th: Dr. Ellen Ryan, Professor Emeritus in Gerontology, McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, will discuss how creativity can shape a meaningful life.
February 14th: Dr. David Ott, internationally recognized American composer and conductor, will discuss the healing power of music.
February 21st: Barbara Rezmer, fitness instructor of “Tai Chi for Health”, will demonstrate why Tai Chi is called “medication in motion” and explain how this gentle exercise can benefit all ages.
