As of August 29, 2017, OneBlood has sent nearly 300 units of blood in two days to Texas and a second shipment is on its way. Rising flood waters and massive destruction is preventing blood center in Texas from being able to collect blood. To ensure enough blood is available locally and for Texas, OneBlood is urging all eligible donors to donate blood as soon as possible.
