Summer History Camp "Chronicles of the Centennial" August 3 - 7 | 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. For Ages 5 - 12 Valparaiso, FL - Celebrating Okaloosa County's 100 th Anniversary all year long... the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida presents "Chronicles of the Centennial" Summer History Camp for ages 5-12, August 3-7. Journey back to the year 1915 and find out what life was like when Okaloosa County was born. Using historic artifacts and Museum exhibits we will explore the dynamics of the family home-life and try our hand at some of the skills people depended on in their daily lives 100 years ago. Have fun each day discovering something new about the lifestyles, careers, fashions, food and more of the people who influenced our community and helped lay the foundation of Okaloosa County today.
