We all know and love the Australia-New Zealand rivalry. It's a bit like watching siblings fight over lego sets. Topics they bicker over include Russell Crowe's nationality, each other's dodgy sportsmanship, who has the better landscapes, and whose climate is more tolerable.
While these two Commonwealth realms get to settle their differences over media jabs and sporting quibbles, when it comes to wine, there's never been a fair playing field. Until now!
We will enjoy wines from both of the very different wine regions and you can make a choice to which you enjoy the most.
This is the FIRST wine dinner in the U.S. to feature the Barossa Valley Estate wines. The wines have only been on U.S. soil for less than 2 months. This is truly an honor to be chosen to present these premium wines from Barossa Valley.
Barossa Valley Estates
Our home - the Barossa Valley. We live in the heart of it. A small, beautiful place tucked on the southern edge of the great Australian continent. We started making wine here in 1985, and although we have won much praise and accolades along the way, we can be regarded as a relative newcomer.
We respect and celebrate the rich history of the Barossa Valley, and are proud to be a part of it. But it is the future where we thrive. We capture the heritage of the Barossa Valley and bring it to today. We take all that we have learnt and create exciting wines from the Barossa Valley - wines capturing the distinctive elegance, finesse and vibrant fruit flavours of this special place.
We only make red wines. In fact we only make Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre, because if history has taught us anything, these are the Barossa Valley's greatest wines.
Welcome to the Barossa Valley. We invite you to experience the wines that made it great.
