It is with great excitement that the Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation announces it will be hosting a series of educational Expos at the start of the 2015/16 school year to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Okaloosa County.
We will have as our invited guest the Superintendent of the Okaloosa County School District (OCSD), and her staff as appropriate.
The program will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 PM on each night. Each school within their geography will have a table to present their school. From 6:15 – 7:00 PM, the OCSD will present on a variety of topics such as transportation, testing, school safety, to name a few.

The Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation, Inc. (OPSF) is a not-for-profit community-based public schools foundation. It is a partnership between families, schools, community and business.
The Foundation is dedicated to supporting and extending the educational opportunities of all individuals within Okaloosa County. Since its establishment in 1995, OPSF has funded educational enrichment programs including teacher grants for unique programs, student scholars in the Take Stock in Children Program, community educational initiatives, and student and teacher recognition awards.
We would ask the Chamber to help share the word about the event as we get closer. We recognize that Destin residents may have interest in both the Aug. 25th and September 10th events, and will provide space for you at each event.
