Join us for a free event, "Red, White and Art", at the Market Shops of Sandestin on Saturday, July 2nd!
Kick off the festivities listening on the lawn to regional favorite, Boukou Groove, from 4 - 6 p.m. and then groove on over (before or after the show, of course!) to The Foster Gallery, the Cultural Arts Alliance's beautiful, new artist co-operative gallery.
2 - 8 p.m. Watch a live palette knife painting demonstration by one of our co-op artists, Kathleen Schumacher. She will create an original piece from her popular Cardinal Bird Series. We will have a raffle for the painting along with a South Walton Fashion Week Swag Bag at the end of the evening!
(Raffle tickets: $5 for one ticket or five tickets for $20. Cash only & all proceeds to benefit the gallery.)
6 - 8 p.m. Enjoy red wine, white wine, light snacks and a chance to chat with several of our featured artists - Carol Ann Cain, Kathleen Schumacher, Kathleen Broaderick, Dorothy Starbuck, Mara Viksnins, Amy Fogg and Theresia McInnis - about the creative process and their incredible art pieces on display & for sale.
We are also happy to showcase local musician, Gileah Taylor, who will be playing new tunes from "Songs for Late at Night Vol.2", her latest CD, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. which will also be available for purchase.
We hope to see you for a fun-filled Saturday
