Wind Creek Hospitality, Atmore, The Women’s Business Alliance (WBA), the Women’s Business Center of South Alabama (WBCSA) and the Women’s Business Center of Rural Alabama (WBCRAL) are excited to announce the procurement of two dynamic speakers for our Women’s Forum: Alabama House Representative Margie Wilcox and Former Senior Advisor on Women’s Issues for the Clinton Administration Betsy Myers.
Representative Margie Wilcox will speak on her many experiences as a woman business owner and political figure. Wilcox is President and owner of Mobile Bay Transportation Company, Inc., Yellow Cab and Pensacola Bay Transportation Company, LLC. Representative Wilcox was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in a special election in early 2014.
Betsy Myers is currently speaking and leading workshops around the world on the changing nature of leadership and will be continuing this theme at our Women’s Forum. In May 2011, Betsy was appointed Founding Director of the Center for Women & Business at Bentley University. Previously, Betsy served as Executive Director of the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and as a senior official in the Clinton Administration.
Work Flow Dynamics: A Women’s Forum is a day and a half women’s conference that will feature a kickoff private reception, vendor exhibitions, 3 dynamic speakers, two award presentations, with breakfast and lunch provided - hosted by Wind Creek Hospitality. Participant tickets are $149|$169 after September 30th. Vendor tickets are $199|$250 after September 30th. Hotel accommodations are not included, but Wind Creek Hospitality is offering special room rates through September 11th.
