Destin Beach Clean Up Set City of Destin Press Release
Destin, FL, Sept. 13 - On Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, volunteers from Destin will be doing their part in Florida's great beach cleanup day by cleaning up and removing trash from Destin 's six miles of sugar-white beaches.
Volunteers are asked to meet at Henderson Beach State Park, south of US Highway 98, at 8 a.m. before heading out. The event will end at 11 a.m.
Destin's Environmental Committee member George Warren said, " Destin volunteers will be provided t-shirts, drinks, trash bags, and gloves as is part of an countywide effort to clean up the beaches.
