Call to Artists: ‘29 Years of Destin’s World-Class Tradition’
Destin Seafood Festival Announces 2007 Poster Contest

     Destin, FL, May 16 - In April, the Destin Area Chamber of Commerce issued a call to artists for the 29th Annual Destin Seafood Festival Poster Contest. This year’s contest theme is ‘29 Years of Destin’s World-Class Tradition.’

     All artwork must be handcrafted by the artist. No computer-generated or enhanced artwork will be accepted. Entries are due to the Chamber office by 12 p.m., on Friday, June 8. The winner will be notified by June 22.

     The festival will take place at the Morgan Sports Complex on Oct. 5-7, 2007.

     More than 25,000 locals and visitors attended last year’s festival for live entertainment, arts & crafts booths, and food. Plans are already underway to make this year’s festival even better. Entertainment for the event will be announced soon.
