Destin, FL, May 21 - Become part of the first class of Destin Forward, the new community education program from the Destin Area Chamber of Commerce. The program is designed to provide a hands-on learning experience into the issues facing the Destin community, and applications are due this Friday, May 25.

     The inaugural class will be made up of 25 business professionals from the Destin area. Sessions will be monthly from September through the May graduation. Designed from the traditional chamber leadership program mold, class members will learn the vital components of tourism, the water ways, the city government, infrastructure, and include a trip to the Capitol in Tallahassee.
