Chamber Promotes Shelley to Membership Consultant

     Destin, FL, June 14 - The Destin Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the promotion of McKenzie Shelley to Membership Consultant. Shelley joined the chamber in February 2007 as Information Specialist.

     “I am very excited McKenzie showed interest in this position. She’s been handling most of the responsibilities at the front desk, so she will have a very smooth transition into the membership position. Her energy, her desire to succeed, and her passion and fire for what we do as an organization will be contagious. That’s exactly what we need in the membership consultant,” said Chamber President and CEO Shane Moody.

     A native to the area, Shelley graduated from Auburn University in the spring of 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Marketing. Previously, she worked for A & A Transfer and Storage as Director of National Accounts.

     “Working for the Destin Area Chamber is such a great opportunity,” said Shelley. “It’s so great to have a job where I am able to serve the community and its businesses while at work.”
