Ribbon Cutting Celebrates Opening of Pilates:Studio A

     Destin, FL, March 27 - On March 6, Destin Area Chamber of Commerce staff and ambassadors gathered to celebrate Pilates:Studio A with a ribbon cutting.

     Pilates:Studio A is the first and only full service Pilates studio in Destin. It offers group classes, as well as private, semi-private, and trio training on Pilates equipment, mat, and tower. Soon, it will be certified as the first and only United States Pilates Association Certification (USPA) Center. The USPA is the first and oldest certification program with archives and documents passed down directly from Joseph Pilates.

     “You have to come and see the studio to know what Pilates is all about. It’s nothing like Yoga. It’s not just for women, and it is a challenge. A program is designed specifically for each individual taking into consideration limitations, goals, and activities,” explained owner Susanne Baber.

     The studio opens 15 minutes prior to the first class or session of the day, but no later than 10 a.m. Monday through Saturday. It closes at 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Additional hours may be scheduled by appointment.
