Destin Seafood Festival Announces 2008 Poster Contest

     Destin, FL, April 10 - To celebrate its 30th anniversary and return to a harbor-front location, the Destin Seafood Festival is issuing a call to artists for the 2008 Destin Seafood Festival Poster Contest. The theme of this year’s contest is ‘Back to the Harbor.’

     All artwork must be handcrafted by the artist. No computer-generated or enhanced artwork will be accepted. Entries are due to the Chamber office by 12 p.m., on Friday, June 6. The winner will be notified by Tuesday, June 24.

     The festival will take place Oct. 3-5, when more than 25,000 visitors and locals will pack HarborWalk Village alongside the harbor docks to enjoy fresh local seafood, live entertainment, arts and crafts booths, children’s activities, and more.
