Chamber Announces Winners of 2008 Golf Tournament

     Destin, FL, April 25 - On Wednesday, April 23, more than 125 golfers descended on Indian Bayou Golf Club for the Chamber’s Annual Golf Tournament. In addition to the Wyndham vacations, Wyndham Championship golf bags, and other great Wyndham Championship golf merchandise, given by corporate sponsor Wyndham Vacation Ownership, more than $2,000 in prizes were donated by awards party sponsor, Trotter's General Contractors, Inc.

     First and second place in the tournament’s first flight were the Club Intrawest team of Curt Boyer, Mike Pac, Dave Philbin, and Norm Tums, and the Coastal Accounting of NW Florida, Inc., team of Eddie Cowen, James Monsees, Price Rainer, and Dwayne Youngblood, respectively. First and second place teams of the tournament’s second flight were the GulfSouth Private Bank team of Tony Atkins, Sam Cobb, John Stack, and Bill Ullery, and the Newman-Dailey Resort Properties, Inc., team of Jerry Bielawski, Bob Dailey, Jim McDaniel, and Kerry McNulty, respectively.

     Don Edwards and James Monsees both won for ‘longest drive.’ Chris Abbott, Mike Pac, Paul Sirmans, and Andrew Yang won ‘closest to the pin.’
