Chamber President and CEO Invited to Join Committee of 100

     Destin, FL, Sept. 11 - Destin Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Shane A. Moody, CCE, IOM, has been invited to join the Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100 for the 2008-2009 year.

     “The Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100 is an elite group of chamber executives that represents the perspectives and needs of chambers and their members to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce,” according to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce website. Committee participation is by invitation only.

     This advisory board will meet twice during the year to discuss leadership, policy, and best practices to identify emerging issues that will impact chambers across the country. It provides the U.S. Chamber feedback on programs, services, and policy-related issues.
