Ribbon Cutting Celebrates the Kiwanis Club of Destin

     Destin, FL, Jan. 16 - On Jan. 8, Destin Area Chamber of Commerce staff and ambassadors gathered to celebrate the Kiwanis Club of Destin with a ribbon cutting.

     The Destin Kiwanis Club is a group of unique individuals working together to help make "The World's Luckiest Fishing Village" an outstanding place to work and live. The club meets every week for breakfast to discuss opportunities to make a difference in the community, be it fundraising events, picking up trash, or assisting local children in various ways. Often there are guest speakers, introducing our members to new people in the area. Not only does this promote education of local businesses, but it allows likeminded people an opportunity to grow with one another.
