Destin Seafood Festival Announces 2009 Poster Contest

     Destin, FL, April 30 - To celebrate its 31st anniversary and return to a harbor-front location, the Destin Seafood Festival is issuing a call to artists for the 2009 Destin Seafood Festival Poster Contest. The theme of this year’s contest is ‘Destin Seafood Festival: Our Harbor, History, and Heritage.’

     All artwork must be handcrafted by the artist. No computer-generated or enhanced artwork will be accepted. Entries are due to the Chamber office by 12 p.m., on Friday, June 19. The winner will be notified by Friday, June 26.

     The festival will take place Oct. 2-4, when more than 35,000 visitors and locals will pack HarborWalk Village alongside the harbor docks to enjoy fresh local seafood, live entertainment, arts and crafts booths, children’s activities, and more.
