Evening Event Celebrates the Destin Harbor

     Destin, FL, May 4 - On April 30, more than 300 area locals and visitors gathered behind Fisherman’s Wharf at the Destin Fishing Fleet Marina to celebrate ‘Sunset on the Harbor.’ The event included live music by Reed Waddle and a cookout.

     The intent of ‘Sunset on the Harbor,’ put on by the Destin Area Chamber of Commerce, was to raise awareness for the Destin harbor and its many amenities and businesses. The Chamber merged with the Destin Harbor Association in the fall of 2008 and will be hosting future similar events to attract people to and promote the Destin harbor.
