Jim Breitenfeld Elected Chamber Vice Chairman of Membership Development

     Destin, FL, June 30 - “I have been involved with the Destin Chamber for 20 years, and it has been a big help to me in my professional dealings,” said Jim Breitenfeld, who was voted into the Executive Committee as Vice Chairman of Membership Development during the Destin Area Chamber of Commerce’s June 22 Board meeting. “This is a great opportunity to give back to the Chamber and the community.”

     Breitenfeld’s new role includes working with Chamber staff to create programs and services that will benefit the membership, as well as help retain existing members and attract new members.

     He is managing partner with Emerald Consulting and Management Group (ECMG), which is an Emerald Coast-based firm providing consulting and management services to small businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and public agencies. Breitenfeld’s areas of expertise include organizational assessment, human relations, market analysis, and grant and project management. ECMG’s goal is to maximize the competitiveness, effectiveness, and productivity of its clients.

     “Our goals for this year include reaching out more and more to our membership, to ensure the Chamber is meeting their needs,” said Breitenfeld. “Destin appears to be leading the way out of the recession, and we will continue to look to build and strengthen our membership.”
