Volunteers Needed for 31st Annual Destin Seafood Festival

     Destin, FL, Sept. 21 - The Destin Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers for the 31st Annual Destin Seafood Festival, set to take place on Oct. 2-4, at HarborWalk Village. Assistance is needed with set up, parking, volunteer check-in, beer and wine booths, clean up, and break down.      Headliners for the festival are Survivor on Friday and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts on Saturday. Other entertainment includes Black-Eyed Blonde, Ocean Street, Chuck Lawson, the Forrest Williams Band, the Sal Salaz Project and Stephanie Pettis RIO Band, Jones and Company, and the Northwest Florida State College Soundsations Show Choir. Festival goers will also enjoy favorite dishes from 18 local seafood restaurants and catering companies, more than 50 arts & crafts booths to browse, a kid’s area, and more.

     Admission for the entire 3-day weekend is $15, or you may purchase daily admission bands for $5 each on Friday and Sunday and $10 on Saturday. The festival hours are Friday, Oct. 2, 4 – 10 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 3, 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 4, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
