Shop Destin – Shop Locally This Holiday Season

     Destin, FL, Dec. 7 - The Destin Area Chamber of Commerce would like to remind residents that spending your dollars in the Destin area this holiday season will help support local businesses. From chic boutiques, eclectic gift stores, and high-end electronics to factory outlets and discount stores, the Destin area has something for everyone on your shopping list. Shopping locally ensures we maintain a thriving economy, which helps all of our friends and neighbors.

     “By shopping locally, we support the local businesses. This, in turn, creates jobs for our residents, adding money that flows through our local economy, and adds to the great quality of life we have here. Creating and supporting programs such as this is a fundamental responsibility of a Chamber, and we’re glad to be supporting local shopping,” explained Chamber President and CEO Shane Moody.

     Local businesses can join the campaign by displaying our Shop Locally image in their stores and on their websites, as well as by reminding their employees, friends, and neighbors of the importance of shopping locally.
