Chamber Launches 2nd Annual Thank You Campaign
![]() Destin, FL, May 19 - The premise of the Thank You Campaign is simple offer a sincere thank you to those who choose to spend their vacation and dollars in Destin.
The Chambers Treasurer Bill Lindsley, Simple HR, came up with this unique concept two summers ago. While having lunch at an area restaurant, he thanked an Arkansas family for choosing Destin for their vacation. Their reaction was overwhelming. As a result of his experience and enthusiasm for the concept, the first Thank You Campaign launched in May 2009 and was a tremendous success. The Chamber heard positive responses from both members and area visitors. Beginning in May, the Chamber will be distributing 250 posters and 500 buttons to Chamber member businesses to help promote the campaign. Participating businesses are asked to put up the posters where they are visible to the public and for frontline employees to wear the buttons. The most important element of the campaign is for all businesses to train their employees to say, Thank you for visiting Destin. Were glad youre here!
