Disaster Preparedness & Recovery Seminar for Destin Area Businesses
Destin, FL, May 6 - Concerned about the steps you should be taking now to secure your business against adverse effects of the oil spill? Businesses in the Destin area are invited to a Disaster Preparedness & Recovery Seminar, designed to educate and inform business owners what they can do protect their business from a loss of income and create documentation needed to file a claim.
The seminar will take place on Friday, May 14, from 8:45 11 a.m., in the Destin Life Center at Destin United Methodist Church. It is free to attend. Speakers include local attorney David Pleat of Pleat & Perry, P.A., and Terry Andre, senior director of the consulting division of OSullivan Creel, LLP. Questions will be taken. The seminar will follow the Chambers monthly Business to Business Breakfast, which begins at 7:15 a.m. This months breakfast will focus on hurricane preparedness and features WJHG NBC 7 Panama City's chief meteorologist Chris Smith, as he explains What to Expect in the Cone.
