Ribbon Cutting Celebrates Grand Opening of Opportunity Home in the Children’s Neighborhood

     Destin, FL, July 29 - On July 23, Destin Area Chamber of Commerce staff and ambassadors gathered to celebrate the grand opening of Opportunity Home in the Children In Crisis’ (CIC) Children’s Neighborhood with a ribbon cutting. Opportunity Home will serve as a teen transition home.

     “We provide foster care to children and transitional living for teens aging out of foster care,” said Debbie Buchanan, CIC resource director. “We provide homes and establish hope to the abused, neglected, and abandoned children of Okaloosa and Walton counties.”
