Fall Flair at Destin United Methodist Church
Destin United Methodist Women will be sponsoring an arts & crafts fair in our new Destin Life Center at the Church on 200 Beach Drive in Destin. A nice variety of arts & crafts will be for sale, as well as a "yummy" bake sale. Our café will be open for lunch and snacks. Visit the American Presidential Experience
Enjoy the American Presidential Experience at the Emerald Coast Conference Center from June 22 – Aug. 22, from 10 a.m – 8 p.m. Last entry each day will be 6:30 p.m. Admission is $12 adults, $9 students, $7 children 6-12, and free for 5 and under. A $3 discount will be given to active duty or retired military and first responders. Tickets can be purchased at the exhibit or online – www.presidentialexperience.com. $30 on the 30th
The Northwest Florida Daily News is starting a program called “$30 on the 30th.” Advertisers are to promote a $30 or 30% discount at their store on the 30th of July. In turn, readers register to win a $30 gift certificate by telling what they would do with an extra $30. A daily drawing will be held from the 15th until the 26th, and those winners will be paired up with the advertiser that offers something close to what they said they would spend the extra $30. Ed Marcell recently returned from NeoCon, the annual Contract Furniture Exibition. All major manufacturers of business furniture introduce their new products at this trade show. Emphasis on green products was a major theme of this year's show.

The University of West Florida will offer a seminar Thursday, July 16, from 12:30 – 4:30 p.m., at the Historic L&N Marine Terminal in Downtown Pensacola. This half-day seminar will focus on how to maximize your recruiting potential by connecting with students and alumni of UWF. Topics will include: What's New at UWF, Connecting with Students, Establishing an Internship or Co-Op Program, and Participating in On-Campus Interviews and Career Fairs.
