City of Destin's 35th Anniversary Open House

The City of Destin cordially invites you to help us celebrate the City of Destin's 35th Anniversary. The Annual Open House will take place on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Destin Community Center. 
 
The theme this year is "Looking Back...Moving Forward."
 
We will have a scavenger hunt style Question and Answer game with prizes at the end. City staff will create 10 questions and answers about the city and spread them throughout the staff and partner booths. Participants will have to complete their Q&A sheet in order to receive a prize at the end of the booth line.
 
We will also host a community "shred day" during the Open House from from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Residents and businesses can bring their old documents to the Community Center to be shredded for free. In order to allow for maximum public participation within the timeframe, only reasonable amounts of materials will be accepted. Excess amounts of materials will only be accepted if time allows. Help getting the word out about this service will be greatly appreciated.
