Early Learning Coalition of the Emerald Coastwill be hosting a special event and film screening for the film No Small Matter, the first feature documentary to explore the most overlooked, underestimated, and powerful force for good in America today: early childhood education.
Through poignant stories and surprising humor, the film lays out the overwhelming evidence for the importance of the first five years and reveals how our failure to act on that evidence has resulted in an everyday crisis for American families, and a slow-motion catastrophe for the country.
We hope you can join us for this important event:
It will be a magical event with special guests...a conversation afterwards and the only screening of the film in our community. This will be a moment to galvanize our community around this issue and a kickoff to our early childhood campaign.
This is your chance to be part of a national movement that highlights the importance of early childhood education in Okaloosa/Walton Counties, Florida
We would be happy to forward this information on to another person who you feel would like to know about this as well. Just let us know and we will be happy to send them an invitation.
Reception and Hors D’oeuvres prior to screening.
