New Exhibition on Display at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center Galleries
The Mattie Kelly Arts Center Galleries at Northwest Florida State College is pleased to present Deborah Masters: Ghosts, on exhibit now through February 28. There will be a gallery reception held on Friday, February 21 from 6-8 p.m.
Ghosts is a nationally-touring exhibition featuring the works of New York-based artist Deborah Masters. Since the start of her career in the 1970s, Masters has drawn on intimate and shared experiences, representing human and animal figures across materials, mediums, and styles. Masters’ impressive Ghosts installation varies in scale from twenty-one feet in height to six inches tall. Ghosts fills the entire Mattie Kelly Center Art Galleries building with three-thousand pounds of sculptures and paintings.
The Mattie Kelly Arts Center Galleries are open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and 90 minutes before most Mattie Kelly Arts Center performances.
