No-Cost Business Consulting with the Florida SBDC at UWF

The Florida SBDC at UWF is holding outreach hours with the Destin Chamber each week specifically for business owners in our area. Florida SBDC at UWF Business Consultant Diana Jernigan will be available for impromptu meetings assisting with business challenges or opportunities. These meetings are confidential, no-cost, and allow you skip the traditional wait period after you request consulting from the Florida SBDC. This opportunity will be available every Thursday from 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. More information on the Florida SBDC at UWF can be found at sbdc.uwf.edu.

Diana recently earned the $4 Million Dollar Club Award for assisting clients with capital access. Prior to that she earned the Regional Performance Excellence of the Year Award. Diana enjoys helping clients reach their goals in launching businesses, in expanding scope, or finding resources. She owned a retail business in Destin for 10 years, which enables her to offer practical, real-world advice to clients. Diana is particularly adept at business plan and marketing plan development, research, and communications. A graduate of California State University, Fullerton with an undergraduate degree in Communications, she earned a Master of Arts from the University of West Florida. Diana is certified in Profit Mastery® and Disaster Assistance Recovery, and earned badges for Dale Carnegie Sales and Customer Service Training Programs. She is an adjunct instructor for the University of West Florida, where she teaches Business Writing for the College of Business, and English Composition, Creative Writing and Literature for the English Department. She enjoys reading and in her spare time plays tennis, paints and writes creatively.
