There may be many changes to the way that food is now provided to the families we serve, but Food For Thought remains committed to help fight against hunger no matter what the future may bring.  What we do know, is that there is a need, and we will continue to adapt to provide food for families in our community; the need is ongoing and growing and we will not stop our mission to fight food insecurity.

Since the end of March, Food For Thought has modified our services from in-school back pack pick up to curbside, drive-thru pickups
These curbside pick ups started at three locations and now are at five locations: Santa Rosa Beach, Destin, DeFuniak Springs, Mary Esther and Freeport
Each Curbside Pick-up feeds 600+ Families in Okaloosa & Walton County
30-50 food items per family are provided, including fresh produce (thankful for a partnership with City Produce)
This past week we were fortunate to be able to provide a hot meal for family members, in addition to the box of food
