Acentria Insurance Announces New Agent

Acentria Insurance, a premier independent insurance agency in the Southeastern United States, is pleased to announce and welcome a new Employee Benefits agent to its headquartered location in Destin, Florida, located at 4634 Gulfstarr Drive. 
 
Mike Carraway joins Acentria Insurance as a Vice President of Employee Benefits with over 33 years of industry experience. Carraway specializes in a full range of employee benefit insurance solutions for employers throughout Florida and the Southeastern United States.  To include core plans that are fully funded and self-funded group health, Life AD&D, vision, dental, short and long-term disability insurance.  In addition, Acentria provides the most competitive ancillary lines for telemedicine, supplemental/worksite, wellness programs and more.  Before joining the Acentria team, Mike has worked with national healthcare carriers to include Principal, BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina and Humana, as well as leading the Employee Benefits division for Fisher-Brown Insurance for over 21 years. Mike primarily works alongside CEOs, CFOs and Human Resource managers to find the best coverage for a company’s employees. As a licensed agent and Life Underwriter Train Council Fellow (LUTCF), Mike understands and assists employers through the myriad of laws around ACA, ERISA, COBRA and AARP compliance.

In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time outdoors along the beautiful Emerald Coast through activities such as boating, golfing and traveling. He also enjoys reading and spending time with his two beautiful daughters.
