Bit-Wizards’ Be the Magic Foundation Provides $7,500 in Scholarships to Students Tied to Local Area

Three students with local ties each received $2,500 from the Be the Magic Foundation to further their education. Quin Gable, Brynn Repicky, and Aniah Gonzales were selected as recipients of the Foundation’s inaugural College Scholarship Program. Gable, Repicky, and Gonzales each overcame significant challenges during their quest for excellence in academics, sports, leadership, patriotism, and community service in high school.  

Quin Gable, a Choctawhatchee High School graduate, will attend the University of West Florida in the Fall. He plans to work toward a Bachelor of Science Degree in Cybersecurity and join the Air Force ROTC program to earn his commission and serve as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. During his high school career, Gable had an impressive track record as an Eagle Scout and held various leadership positions. He also rose through the ranks in his high school’s Air Force JROTC and became the Corps Commander for over 250 cadets. Gable maintained high academic standards as a National Honor Society inductee, was a Choctaw High School Archery Team member, volunteered at his church’s Vacation Bible School, and worked part-time to fund all of his activities. 
 
Brynn Repicky, daughter of local military combat veteran Cliff Repicky, graduated with Honors in the top 10 of her 400-student Senior Class from Smiths Station High School. She will attend Bevill State Community College in Alabama for her first two years and then transfer to Auburn University to work toward a degree in Political Science and a career in politics. In addition to excelling academically, Repicky is a talented athlete. Despite suffering a spinal injury, she recovered and lettered her last three years and served as Team Captain for her high school softball team. She also led her school’s flag football team to the state championship as part of the Alabama High School Athletics Association’s inaugural year for the sport. Repicky’s leadership is prevalent on and off the field. 
 
Aniah Gonzales, a Pflugerville, Texas native and Bit-Wizards Marketing Intern, graduated from Hendrickson High School and will attend Avenue Five Institute in Austin, Texas, to become a licensed esthetician. Despite being raised in a single-parent household, she maintained excellent academic standing, was part of her high school’s Marine JROTC program, and was a Hendrickson High School softball team member. Gonzales worked multiple part-time jobs to support herself and her family and started up her own online business, “Aniah Rae’s Collection,” selling her own homemade bath and body products. Her goal is to grow her online business and create a franchise after mastering her trade.
